10 things we’d like to see when the show ends

Warning: this article contains spoilers for Boba Fett’s Book.

Speculation is rife about the endgame of Boba Fett’s Bookthe first season. With the return of Din Djarin, aka the Mandalorian, everything seems to be on the table. There are some things fans want to see by the end of the season, including some intriguing possibilities set in motion in the early episodes with the introduction of the Rancor and the teasing of an unseen “big bad.”

If the series follows the same pattern as the first two seasons of The Mandalorian, the season should end with a major revelation. Since the show is built around Boba Fett, such a reveal could involve characters and events from the original trilogy. Fans are also hoping to get an update on the main storylines of the Mandalorian, including the current circumstances of Grogu and his master.

Fennec Shand betrays Boba Fett

Since the beginning of the series, Fennec Shand and Boba Fett have been closely linked. They are also diametrically opposed in terms of philosophy when it comes to running a criminal empire. This promises potential betrayal by Fennec Shand.

Boba Fett seeks to rule with respect, but Fennec clearly prefers fear and violence. Boba Fett tries to maintain a loose alliance of several crime families in Mos Espa, but the most dangerous person he has to watch out for might be his closest ally.

Other bounty hunters join the fight

Vader's bounty hunter lines up in The Empire Strikes Back

One of the best scenes from The Empire Strikes Back features Boba Fett and other great bounty hunters in the galaxy. Fans really want to see these iconic characters return and with Boba Fett looking for muscle in his battle against the Pykes, there’s a good chance they’ll show up.

Bossk, IG-88, Dengar, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss all have strong ties to Boba Fett beyond their original appearance. Many of them, especially Bossk, have appeared with him in other media like comics, books, and clone wars animated series.

Daniel Logan as Boba Fett

Daniel Logan has previously appeared in flashbacks in Boba Fett’s Book but fans would love to see the actor return for something more substantial. He first played Boba Fett as a kid in attack of the clones and could also return as an older version of the character in other flashbacks.

Logan could potentially help fill in some blanks early in Boba Fett’s life, including the time between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. Logan also voiced the character in some of the best episodes of the clone wars series, some of which were never completed.

Jango Fett in Flashback

The series’ flashbacks repeatedly came back to Kamino and Boba Fett’s early life. One character they haven’t touched on yet but fans would love to see is Boba Fett’s father, Jango Fett. De-aging technology could allow Temuera Morrison to return to her original role.

Jango Fett is one of the best characters in attack of the clones and flashbacks in the new show would be a great way to add more dimension to the character. Jango Fett has been featured in books and comics, but it would be great to see him on screen more.

Han Solo visits

Star Wars Boba Fett Han Solo

Boba Fett explores a lot of his past, but so far a major aspect of it has yet to be touched upon. One thing fans would love to see before the series ends is Han Solo. It would be great to see Solo in this period, just a few years later Return of the Jedi.

It would also be fascinating to see if Boba Fett’s new perspective on life extends to his former nemesis. A lot of bitterness exists between Fett and Solo thanks to what happened in the original trilogy, and fans deserve to see a reunion between the two in the new series.

The Max Rebo group meets

The Max Rebo group

One of the most unexpected things about the new series is the appearance of Max Rebo, the organist of the Max Rebo Band at Jabba’s Palace in Return of the Jedi. As one of the survivors of Jabba’s sailing barge, he opens the door to a much-anticipated reunion of the group.

Although Sy Snootles and Droopy McCool have yet to be seen on screen again, in some comics and books they also survived the Sail Barge explosion. Max Rebo’s presence in Mos Espa suggests they lived too and an encore performance would be good for the fans.

Boba Fett is reunited with his Tusken family

Tusken Raiders in The Book of Boba Fett

One of the saddest moments in the series so far is Boba Fett’s return to the village of Tusken to find them all slaughtered by the Nikto speeder gang. However, all is not as it seems, and fans want to see Boba Fett reunited with the members of his new tribe.

The bodies of the Tusken woman who trained him to gaffi stick and the young child are nowhere to be found at the scene, hinting that they may have survived the attack. They may have been captured or escaped to the Dune Sea, where he can find them.

Qi’ra is revealed to be the big bad

Qi'ra smiles in Solo A Star Wars Story.

The Pykes appear to be the main villains of the series, muscled into Boba Fett territory and potentially being the real bad guys behind the Tuskens massacre. But there are plenty of clues that it’s actually Crimson Dawn and their leader, Qi’ra.

Luke Skywalker trains Grogu

The Mandalorian finale Luke Skywalker holding Grogu

Grogu is referenced in Chapter 5 of the series, but fans want to see the young padawan again as much as Din Djarin. Given that Din Djarin is determined to visit Grogu before joining Boba Fett’s growing army, it’s likely fans will get to see Luke Skywalker training Grogu.

It would be a fantastic scene for a number of reasons. This part of Luke’s story has never been shown. It’s possible that Luke has other students as well, and one of them might even be a very young Ben Solo.

Boba Fett rides the grudge

The biggest tease in the series is the one that absolutely needs to be filled. When Boba Fett receives the Rancor from the twins, he is referring to the witches of Dathomir leading them into battle. Fans really want to see Boba Fett riding this Rancor before the show ends.

Chances are he will as he gathers his army to go to war against the Pykes. Either he fights them or the Pykes besiege Jabba’s palace. Either way, fans want to see Boba Fett release his new favorite pet.
