FLORIDA SOUTHERN COLLEGE HOSTS CEO 100 LECTURE SERIES ENTREPRENEUR RICHARD THOMPSON TO TALK

LAKELAND, Florida., April 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The South Florida College The CEO 100 conference series takes up the Thursday, April 7like Richard Thompson, the managing partner of Factory, LLC, will offer his memories, wisdom and experience. The event will take place at noon at the George Jenkins Field House. The series is sponsored by the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise.

Thompson has been a serial entrepreneur all his life, founding, owning and operating successful businesses in multiple industries. As CEO of American Italian Pasta Company, The Meow Mix Company and Freshpet, he helped create more than $3 billion in enterprise value.

With a wealth of experience and as founder and managing partner of Factory LLC, Thompson leads a one-of-a-kind investment firm that, in addition to capital, provides strategic advice to entrepreneurs in the food, beverage and pets in areas such as marketing. , supply chain, new product development and sales.

At the end of the conference, FSC President Dr. Anne B. Kerr will confer a Doctor of Commerce degree, honoris causaon Thompson.
