Historical Society announces new book
The officers, trustees and general membership of the Little Falls Historical Society are proud to announce the publication and availability of our new book BEYOND OUR BICENTENARY.
This book is a compilation of seventy-seven articles written by thirty-nine different residents of Little Falls, past and present. The book is dedicated to two groups of individuals, the founding members of the Historical Society and all veterans of Little Falls.
The seventy-seven articles are organized by topics that include the military, people, places, music, the 1940 Gulf Curve train wreck, waterways, athletics, buildings, and local events. and national. All eighteen articles were written about, and in many cases by, Little Falls military veterans provided the emotional centerpiece of this publication.
BEYOND OUR BICENTENARY is a supplement to the Historical Society’s 2013 book, TOWARDS OUR BICENTENARY, which contained fifty-four articles. Together, the two books contain some 129 articles on the history of Little Falls.
The cost of this 250-page book is $35, taxes included. The Historical Society has also arranged to mail copies of the book to any location for $40 including tax.
