McALLEN HERITAGE CENTER – We are excited to share our next event at the museum. On Saturday, November 5, we will welcome the editor and two authors of ‘Living Beyond Borders, Growing up Mexican in America’.

In this multimedia collection of short stories, personal essays, poetry and comics, this famous group of authors share the borders they have crossed, the struggles they have traversed and the two cultures they have lived through. continue to travel as Mexican Americans. Living Beyond Borders is both an eye-opening, heartbreaking, and hopeful love letter from the Mexican American community to today’s young readers.
