A program “Talaash-e-Jauhar: Lecture and Workshop” was held on Sunday in Jabalpur.
It was organized by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, Sanskriti Parishad, Department of Culture at Shri Janaki Raman Mahavidyalaya, Aga Chowk, Ranital, Jabalpur.
At the start of the show, lead guest Abhijat Krishna Tripathi said that the great campaign launched by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy on behalf of Talaash-e-Juhar to seek out budding poets is certainly very commendable. With this initiative, new creators get a platform, which will increase their confidence.
Based on the jury’s joint decision on the ghazals declared by the new composers on Egypt above, Abdul Anam of Damoh was awarded the first, Anjuman Arzoo Mansoori of Chhindwara the second and Purnima Singh Iram of Jabalpur the third prize .
After the presentation, in the conference, senior litterators and poets of Jabalpur, Feroz Kamal and Niyaz Ahmed Majaz discussed the nuances of poetry and expressed their views based on the presentation of the participants.
On this occasion Mubeen Zamin Chhindwara, Minhaj Qureshi Seoni, Anish Shah Narsinghpur, Maqbool Niazi Katni, Junaid Akhtar Mandla, Adeeb Damohi Damoh, Adarsh Dubey Sagar also presented their poems. On this occasion, Shyam Bairagi Mandla, who brought the cleanliness campaign to the masses with his popular song, also gave a magnificent performance.
