KARACHI, (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News – June 14, 2022): Eminent scholar, poet and pedagogue, Prof. Peerzada Qasim said on Tuesday that the pace of time is getting faster and faster, hence those who follow the rhythm of time achieve success, and those who are faster or slower than the rhythm of time are unfit for society.

He expressed these views in his lecture at the 3rd conference in the “Road to Success” motivational lecture series organized by the Department of Business Administration at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Science. technology (SSUET) here.

Delivering his lecture, the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi, Prof. Peerzada Qasim said that the journey to success has different dimensions. Today, one can take advantage of the wide range of knowledge, experience and observations available, he said.

He pointed out that “Not even one percent of people really know each other. You are completely unaware of the qualities or flaws you have.” Highlighting the role of private universities, Professor Peerzada Qasim said that if there were no private universities like Sir Syed University, it would be difficult for many students to gain access to higher education.

Public universities receive funding from the government, but private universities have to meet the expenses themselves, but private universities still share the responsibility of educating young people.

Speaking on the occasion, SSUET Chancellor, Jawaid Anwar said motivational talks are important as they help to inspire people, enhance creativity, reduce fear and apprehension and offer a new vision of things. It engages people’s minds and hearts in a way that motivates them to think more clearly, see opportunity, and move forward with action.

Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali said the corporate environment itself is often incredibly stressful and difficult. However, a motivational speech can be one of the ways to overcome these challenges and increase results. It is vital for organizations to invest in such platforms that encourage and motivate their professionals to pursue success in an organic and healthy way.
