The 8th Annual Harry Potter Book Night is held at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library

CLARKSVILLE, TN – The first week of February marks the arrival of the annual Harry Potter Book Night, when fans of all ages are invited to celebrate the novels – and in 2022 they celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Harry Potter at the ‘school of wizards’. ”

This year, Harry Potter Book Night includes an entire week of magical library and home events. From January 31 until February 5, wizards, witches and Muggles are invited to participate in enchanting games, magical crafts, DIY projects and a range of other activities.

Join the Library on Facebook Live Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. for “Potions Class” with Mr. Richie Superscience, followed by “Hogwarts Orientation: An Evening of Wizardry,” a live performance by local magician Russ Nowack at 7 p.m. .31, grab free Harry Potter themed purses available all week while supplies last. As tradition dictates, they will also be giving away House points and prizes. House points and prize entries are earned in a number of ways, such as stopping at the traffic desk to pick up a house button or sticker or completing a Golden Snitch scavenger hunt. Harry Potter fans of all ages are invited to join a Zoom Quiz on January 31 at 6 p.m. and Zoom Pictionary on February 2 at 6 p.m.
